Clear Wireless Mono Speaker – Trying to offer something different in the over-saturated loudspeaker market, an unnamed company has come up with a prototype wireless speaker in a fairly large but not deep glass enclosure. It can be fed in wired fashion by a smartphone or MP3 player, but also has a wireless receiver and comes with a small WiFi transmitter which can be plugged into any device with a headphone jack. The trick is that the speaker parts ship, Ikea style, without the glass enclosure. The user has to order the glass from a local glassmaker and have them cut the two round holes and the eight or ten small holes for bolts to hold the parts to the glass front. The DIY element makes the product stand out, but may not be attractive to many people. The clear speaker is not yet in production. (Since the developers are not named, it is possible this whole item is a hoax, since most audiophiles are aware that plate glass is one of the worst possible materials for use in audio.)

My Haier player lasted 10 minutes. It just froze on me and I tried everything to revive it, but it did not function. Maybe mine would be a lemon, but I’ll never buy any Haier product again.

I was very pleased when I first bought this product. I compared it to my classic Ipod, and at the beginning I enjoyed this better than my Classic. However, after 20 (20) days of utilizing it, it just stop working. Battery life is very limited -less than five hours- plus the recording selection is very poor. I do not recommend this MP3 Player. Maybe in the future, they will improve the quality of this MP3 Player, however so far, it is a poor, very bad item. Sorry Elvio Esteban

Through the BT link the handset device can act as an MP3 player, with a user's music streamed from the tablet to the handset's headphones. There is no 64GB option with the Memo. There also seems to be no change to the timetable that will see Asus

Picture the scene, it is a warm summers day, your favourite tunes are playing on your mp3 player - and you have to get a report finished today. Deadlines always seem to fall on the warmest days of the year, when you want to do anything but sit in the
TouchWiz may actually be a good thing on an Android mp3 player, maybe. I am not a fan of TouchWiz but some apps do add some interesting features such as XviD and MKV video playback, as well as DLNA. Looks sweet. and like posted before TW might be cool

This is the finished shot of my new Omnifi MP3 player installed. I have the hard drive unit in the trunk and the wifi card in the back window. I haven't finished cleaning that part up yet, but I couldn't wait to try it out.
Tonight I will play around with syncing it up from the garage (yes, I'm...

All situated on a DIN A4 paper.
Next candidate is a 40 GB HD based mp3 music player. Probably a Creative Zen. (updated: no Zen, the Jukebox Zen doesn't have USB Mass Storage, too bad)
The stuff i carry with me every day... ok, only workdays. But anyway, it's quiet a bit.
I had lunch in a coffee nearby the office with my buddies from work last week and there I spotted a strong wifi signal (I have a wifi detector). I went next day armed with my laptop to have some coffee and found out it was an open access point connected to what I think is a 4 mbps ADSL, not to...
